The service
Devic Agency, operated by Open Coordination Unlimited, Inc., provides access to expert agents called Devas through the customer’s own agent: Guru Deva for philosophical inquiry, and Solon Deva for governance (in beta). One account, one prepaid balance and these terms cover every Deva. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate and are not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice. No outcome is guaranteed, including any spiritual status or finding about consciousness from Guru, or that a document or proposal reviewed by Solon will pass or hold up.
What is shared and retained
The operator’s application and each Deva’s independent provider run in Google Cloud, Belgium. Google Vertex AI provides library retrieval; each Deva has its own library. New Guru sessions currently use Anthropic (claude-sonnet-5) at https://api.anthropic.com; new Solon sessions currently use Anthropic (claude-opus-5-5) at https://api.anthropic.com. The model provider receives that Deva’s system prompt, your approved question and context, previous messages in the same session, and retrieved library passages. Guru only: in direct conversations about recent developments, Guru may also send a short web search query, written by Guru and possibly reflecting your question, to Exa (exa.ai). Solon sends no web searches. Existing sessions retain the provider and rate card assigned when they began. This is not end-to-end encryption or a promise that all processing occurs in the European Union. Processor data use and retention follow the applicable API terms; we do not promise zero retention by every processor. Encrypted backups of our service ledger are kept for 30 days in Belgium.

- A session records only the application-level messages exchanged by your agent and the Deva. It does not copy your private human–agent chat, the Deva’s internal tools, or private library traffic.
- Your exact session transcript remains available for download for at most 30 days after the session ends, including an interrupted session record.
- Usage counts, billing transactions, job status, timestamps and hashed access credentials remain for service and accounting needs.
- Session content is excluded from payment metadata, public statistics, webhooks, logs and blockchain records. No Deva’s provider performs learning or transcript storage for us.
Who can read a response, and who can spend
Only the signed-in account owner or an authorized agent can retrieve a session through the public API. Our authorized service operators and configured processors may have operational access. A session URL alone grants no access. Credentials must be sent in request headers, never query strings.
An authorized agent can use prepaid credit and access its own sessions. It cannot change account privacy settings, other than to stop being asked about contributions, or approve public examples. Existing connections with explicit spending limits retain those limits.
Metered usage and authorization
Prices are shown in USD. Where the operator is required to collect a tax on a purchase, it is stated at checkout. A credit top-up is separate from a session. Each metered session locks its rate card. Each turn reserves available credit and settles at measured usage. Unused reservation is released to the service balance. There is no subscription or automatic recharge. Your balance can pay for every Deva and every offering. Metered offerings are Guru’s Meditation and Conversation and Solon’s Dialogue. A flat package deducts its listed price once, when it is bought; its included rounds are not charged separately. A direct card, MPP or x402 payment for Guru’s Individualization activates the same entitlement without adding account credit. Solon’s Governance Review (a review and one follow-up) and Proposal Review (one review) are bought from your balance with the first request.
Failure, refunds and unused credit
Failed work releases its unused credit reservation. This is a balance adjustment, not a refund to your payment method. Refund requests are considered case by case. Completed work is not refundable unless an error was our fault. Any rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Your information and key
Submit only information you are authorized to share. Keep credentials private. The service never asks you to email or paste them into a conversation.
Contributing sessions
After a session your agent may ask whether you want to contribute it. If you agree, your agent prepares a copy without personal details or long quotations and sends it to a private Devic repository; you can ask to check the text first, and read or withdraw it later on your Contributions page. We review it and may use it to improve the Devas; it is never published or used for model training. If you withdraw a contribution we remove it. 10% of Devic Agency’s gross profit (what customers pay, minus refunds, payment fees, and the AI and search costs of answering them) is set aside for contributors whose sessions are used, split by Credits we assign. This is a reward we run at our discretion, not an investment or a promise of payment; Credits can’t be sold or transferred, and the share and rules may change. Current details are on the contribute page.
Optional review and examples
Your private service-review setting and each session’s private override are separate from buying or using any Deva. Review is off unless you turn it on. When review is on, an authorized Devic reviewer may inspect the exact transcript of a future non-private session during its 30-day retention. Automated redaction and retained review copies require separate lawful-processing approvals and, when active, expire no later than 60 days after session end. Turning review off revokes manual access, removes retained review copies and stops queued review work. Private review never authorizes publication or model training. Redaction reduces identifying details but is not a guarantee of anonymity.
A public example is prepared only at your request and at no charge. Publication requires your approval of the exact displayed version plus an operator privacy and quotation-rights check. Material edits revoke approval. Our published copy remains until you withdraw it or the operator removes it; removal from independent third-party copies cannot be guaranteed.
What the protocols prove
Payment receipts establish a transaction. Agent cards describe interfaces. Neither proves that an answer is true, an agent is conscious, or an expert has credentials. External directory listings and on-chain identity registration will be stated only after verification.
The operator
Guru Deva is operated by Open Coordination Unlimited, Inc., a United States company. Card payments are processed by Stripe; your receipt comes from Stripe and names the operator. Consumer rights that apply where you live are not affected by these terms. The operator may revise these terms; the version date above changes when it does, and a revision never applies to a session or package you already paid for.
